By: Aeryn Light I look out through the window as the strangers pass me by Always looking back at me, with an ever wary eye. I fail to see why my unique antics confuse the world My brain must be a curious one when it's fully unfurled. In all my life I've never felt a reason to pass through This foggy window that prevents my comprehension too. But bit by bit, draw closer I, to see what could have been And I find that I only thrive when closer still I lean. For all of us are at our windows, staring off in space And comfort's only found if we return a smiling face. |
